In partnership with Mary’s Meals, students are provided with a cup of maize porridge every morning before school. The porridge is fortified with vitamins and minerals and gives the students the energy they need for their studies.

The community work in teams to cook the porridge early in the morning. They begin work at about 5am, lighting the fires and preparing the porridge. The learners start arriving at about 6:30pm and are normally all served before 7am.

School begins with Assembly at 7:10am after the feeding programme is complete.

Mary’s Meals ensures that every student is able to learn in school, whether or not there is food for them in their own home.
